These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.str-performance.com (the "Site") and any purchases of goods or services made through it. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About us

The Site is operated by STR Performance Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC799599, VAT number GB 461 5413 09. You can contact us at info@str-performance.com.

2. Use of the site

You may use the Site for lawful personal and business purposes. You must not:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server, or any database connected to it;
• use the Site to transmit malware, spam or unlawful material;
• copy, scrape or reproduce content from the Site for commercial purposes without our written permission;
• use the Site in a way that causes, or may cause, damage to the Site or impairs its availability.

3. Product information and pricing

We try to make sure all product descriptions, photos, specifications and prices on the Site are accurate. However:

• Photos are illustrative and the part you receive may differ slightly in appearance.
• Fitment data is provided as a guide. It is your responsibility to confirm a part fits your specific vehicle (model, year, engine code, trim) before ordering.
• Prices include VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable.
• Prices, descriptions and availability may change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you placed it.

If a pricing or description error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as a mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. How a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, only when we send you an order confirmation by email. We may decline an order at our discretion (e.g. stock issue, suspected fraud, unsuitable fitment).

5. Delivery

• We deliver to mainland UK as standard. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland may incur surcharges or extended timescales.
• Estimated dispatch and delivery times are shown at checkout. They are estimates, not guarantees.
• Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes once we have received payment in full.

6. Returns, refunds and faulty goods

7. Emissions equipment, modifications and off-road / motorsport parts

UK law (Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, regulation 61a) makes it an offence to use a vehicle on a public road that has had emissions control equipment tampered with, removed or disabled. "Emissions control equipment" includes (without limitation): catalytic converters, sports-cat sections, Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), EGR systems, AdBlue / SCR systems, lambda and oxygen sensors, and any ECU mapping that removes or disables any of those systems.

Other parts we may sell or fit — including but not limited to race manifolds, decat downpipes, competition-spec exhaust sections, certain performance ECU maps and competition-only components — are likewise intended for off-road or motorsport use only and may not be road-legal under the 1986 Regulations or current type-approval rules.

Our position. STR Performance Ltd will not knowingly fit, supply or remap a vehicle to remove or disable emissions control equipment where the vehicle is used on the UK public road. We may decline any job at our absolute discretion.

Where you instruct us to fit, supply or remap any emissions-tampering or off-road-only part, you confirm in writing — and you warrant — that:

• the vehicle is used solely for off-road / motorsport competition use, OR
• the vehicle is being prepared for export and will not be used on UK public roads, OR
• the vehicle is being prepared as a non-road project, restoration or display vehicle and will not be driven on UK public roads;
• you understand that fitting such a part to a road-going vehicle is a criminal offence, will cause an MOT failure, may invalidate insurance, and may attract fixed penalties and unlimited fines on prosecution;
• you accept full and sole responsibility for any fines, penalties, prosecutions, MOT failures, insurance consequences or other losses arising from on-road use.

We accept no liability whatsoever for any of the above. Where we discover or reasonably suspect that an emissions-tampering modification we have been asked to perform is in fact intended for on-road use, we will refuse the job and any deposit will be refunded less reasonable costs incurred.

8. Intellectual property

All Site content (text, photos, logos, layout, code) belongs to STR Performance Ltd or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
• defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987;
• any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to the above:

• For online sales of goods, our total liability for any single order is limited to the price paid for that order.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. loss of profit, loss of use of the vehicle, alternative transport costs).
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

These limits apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Privacy

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Scots law. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be at www.str-performance.com. Orders placed before a change are governed by the Terms in force at the time of the order.
