This policy sets out your rights when buying goods from STR Performance Ltd ("we", "us", "STR Performance"). Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If you bought a stocked, non-customised part from us (filters, brake pads, fluids, OEM/aftermarket items we hold or order in unmodified form), you have the following rights.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you bought online or by phone you may cancel for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. To cancel, email us at info@str-performance.com with your order number.
If a part is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose:
Email info@str-performance.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description.
Custom-built exhaust systems, bespoke fabrication work, modified parts and any item made or altered to your specification are excluded from the 14-day cancellation right under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 ("goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised").
Your statutory rights for faulty workmanship or materials still apply — see section 1.2.
Inspect goods on arrival. If a parcel arrives damaged, take photos before opening if possible, and email info@str-performance.com within 48 hours of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund.
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods or agreeing the refund, whichever is sooner. Card refunds may take 3–5 working days to appear in your account after we issue them.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a refund or return, you can refer the matter to Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) or, for credit-card payments, your card issuer under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
